- Élyx est né le 8 février 2007 à l'hôpital St-Justine de Montréal. Élyx souffrait d'une transposition des gros vaisseaux du coeur, c'est pourquoi il est né à Montréal au lieu de Sherbrooke, ou nous demeurons. Nous savions depuis la 20ème semaine de grossesse à propos de la malformation. C'est une condition qui nécéssitait une opération délicate à coeur ouvert. L'opération à eu lieu le 15 février et Élyx a passé au travers comme un champion et récupère à une vitesse impressionnante. Il va sans dire que maman Annie et Papa Joel sont extrêmement heureux et ne peuvent qu'avoir le plus grand respect pour le petit homme et sa détermination de vivre. Merci de tout notre coeur à l'équipe de Sainte-Justine qui en ont prit et en prennent encore soint en ce 20 février. Merci à Linda, Carole, Valérie, Isabelle, Frédérick, Marie-France, Isabelle de la fondation en coeur, Garry, Kim maman de 2 petits jumeaux....évidement, pour le moment nous oublions des noms, mais nous les rajouterons bientôt, mais un nom en particulier que nous voulons souligner, Docteur Suzanne Vobecky....merci du plus profond de notre coeur à tout les 3. Élyx was born on Febrary 8th 2007. He had a heart condition called Transpositions of the main arteries, that's why he was born in Montreal instead of Sherbrooke, where we live. We knew from the 20th week of pregnancy about the malformation. It's a condition that needs a delicate open heart surgery. The operation was on February 15th and Élyx made it trough like a champ and is recuperating at impressive speed. It goes without saying that Mom and Dad, Annie & Joel are overwhelmed with joy and we cant but have the utmost respect for our little man and is will to live. Thanks to all the staff that work with Élyx, you know who you are. One name that we will never forget, Doctor Suzanne Vobecky, thanks from all our hearts, the 3 of us.The photos below show a wonderfull baby but without too much of the medical aspect.
